Karaoke Track News

April 17th, 2026
We've released a further small batch of tracks this week. See below for the full list. Bernard Jewry later became Alvin Stardust but long before Alvin was created, Bernard performed as Shane Fenton and as Shane Fenton & The Fentones they had a few minor hits in the UK charts, one of which we've produced this week - I'm A Moody Guy - which was released in 1961 and made number 22 in the charts. The guitar work appears to be influenced by Cliff Richard & The Shadows and Shane's singing had hints of Buddy Holly about it and that's unsurprising as Bernard/Alvin was a big fan of Buddy's work!

Lower keys of Showaddywaddy's Blue Moon and Elenore (The Turtles) also appear this week.

Stupid Cupid was most famously sung by Connie Francis but it was originally written by Neil Sedaka (and Howie Greenfield) and so we've made Neil's version which has an extra intro piece on it. Not many people will be able to reach the high notes in Neil's key so we've produced a version three semitones lower too!
